MGM Updates Their Stargate Website

While the Sci-Fi Channel has declined purchasing a new season of Stargate: SG-1, it is obvious that MGM is actively working on a way to keep the show alive. Rumors abound as to the method; from internet downloads to mini-series to feature films. In the meantime you can go to StargateSG1.com, the official MGM site, and join the community to show your support. The community is media-oriented, akin to something like YouTube, but don't let that stop you from joining!

Sci-Fi Channel Has Cancelled Stargate SG-1

Although they picked up Stargate Atlantis for a fourth season, the Sci-Fi Channel executives have decided to pull the plug on the record-breaking series, Stargate SG-1. They announced it to the cast and crew as they gathered to celebrate the 200th episode, a landmark occasion marking the show as the longest consecutively running sci-fi program.

Their timing sucks.

While the creative team of Stargate as well as the producers at MGM are avidly seeking new alternatives for keeping their franchise alive, Sci-Fi has said their contract prohibits any new episodes to be produced for any other network. Despite this, they also say they would be interested in a mini-series if MGM would lower its price.

Given the record-setting history of this show, and the fact that it pretty much carried the Sci-Fi Channel to its elevated status, the network has given the show, its cast and crew and its fans shoddy treatment. With such tactless timing, coupled with statements like "We don't want it to overstay its welcome," the Sci-Fi Channel has made some bitter enemies.

Us, the fans.

Stargate Music Videos

Rules have been posted regarding video downloads.

It has been a while since I completed a video. Real life has been incredibly busy. However, I have managed to release "Est Aeterna", brought on by the recent news of cancellation. She is eternal.

Stargate Photo Gallery

I realize I am behind on updating the photo galleries. Sometimes real life just gets out of control. Hopefully soon I can add everything I am still missing. I am afraid that there won't be much more to add in the future, given that Sci-Fi seems done with the show.

Episode Guide

One of these days. I swear it.
